In the past few weeks, we have make reviews on several quad core tablets, but they are all Allwinner A31 based quad core tablets. Today, we get news from the manufacturer Pipo that they made out a RK3188 based tablet in their lab, the Pipo M9.
Pipo M9 equips the newest quad core chip form Rockchip, the RK3188. This chip applies with the Cortex-A9 architecture, embedded with a quad core Mali400MP4 GPU. RK3188 will be the first 28nm HKMG processing made processor of China manufacturer. Thanks to the new 28nm processing, the power consumption will be much lower than present processors. The running frequency also been increased, the GPU frequency of Mali400MP4 will be enhanced to 533MHz, and the max. CPU frequency will reach to 1.8GHz, this is the highest frequency of ARM architecture device presently.
According to the news from Pipo, the Pipo M9′s Antutu benchmark score will burst to 18000+, this is remarkably will bring us a revolutionary experience we’ve ever had.

Besides the huge enhancement of CPU, Pipo M9 will equip the most wonderful 10.1 inch screen. The screen is provided by HannStar, it applies the second generation IPS technology, its size is 10.1 inch with aspect ratio of 16:10, resolution of 1280*800. With these features, the color display will be more really, the view angle will be more wide, and the brightness even up to 650nit, it’s 2 times of other tablets’ screen.

This is by far the best I have seen in a Chinese tablet. Great job to the makers. How does the battery do on stress? Please can I have the price when it comes to India?
