There's a new third party Android tablet hitting the streets, and it's not exactly a bargain. It's called the Nextbook Premium 10SE, and will sell for $279.99. It has the following specs:
  • 9.7-inch TFT display with 1,024 x 768 resolution
  • 1GHz processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage
  • A microSD card slot for up to 32GB of extra space
  • A 0.3MP front-facing camera
  • WiFi b/g/n
  • G-sensor
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Considering that there are a lot of ICS tablets hitting the market lately, the specs on this one seem a bit mediocre for the price. We included a video above just in case it piques your interest anyway. What do you guys think?

If I truly want an ipad look-alike Ill get one from a company that has developed my trust and whose products I already like.... and far closer to $200...

My $200.... I mean 2cts... :p

Strange. On the internet I keep seeing the price of this tablet as $249 and $279. Yet the two Hastings I have been to sell it for $179.99. At that price I would jump except that battery life sucks on all Nextbook products. I have a 7P that works great for how I use a tablet but short battery life makes it kind of useless.
