The newest 2013 generation of the Google Nexus 7 LTE version just went on sale in 10 countries in the Google Play Store. In the United States, folks who are on AT&T or T-Mobile will be the only ones who can utilize this device fully, as only these carriers have SIM cards for the LTE version of the device. Here's a list of the countries where you can order this device from the Play Store:
  1. Australia
  2. Canada
  3. Germany
  4. Spain
  5. France
  6. Italy
  7. UK
  8. Japan
  9. South Korea
  10. United States
We still have no word on a Verizon or Sprint version of this device, and we aren't too sure if there ever will be one. If this changes we will update you guys.

While Verizon hasn’t fully locked down their network from this tablet, it will not activate the device with a new line. And, in America, it's legal. A carrier will deny you a new line because they don’t like the device you bought, despite it being a device designed to work on the network. But, it’s just a good reason not to give them your money. Speak out, and then things will start changing. Hopefully public pressure will force Verizon to go back on this decision.
