I have a Sylvania SYNET7LP tablet.
I was modifying the build.prop file, and the device had restarted.
I changed the original build.prop file to build.prop.bak and left in it the /system DIR.
Right now the /system DIR does not have a build.prop file.
I am currently stuck at the splash screen.
I am able to get to the Android recovery utility and have tried all options:
Android system recovery <2e>
Android system recovery utility
- reboot system now
- apply sdcard:update.zip
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command: No such file or directory
I've tried ADB on my system running Win7.
I installed the OTB USB drivers, get the sound as the device is plugged in, then it disconnects.
I am fairly new to the Android OS and tools.
Any help is appreciated.
