I have several problems with my 10.1 tablet:
1. Used to be the screen would shut down after a prescribed limit, but now it does not. The result is that my battery is drained a lot faster that it used to, especially when it is not being used. I do not know if this is a system error, or if some app is blocking the shut down.
2. I can no longer access it from my desktop via the USB cable. Now when I plug it in and try to access it from my pc, it says it is no longer connected.
3. Downloaded the "Files" program from the Samsung Market. It seemed to be a decent app, and the cool thing is that you could put an icon on the "task bar" so you could access without the desktop icon. This has ceased to work properly. It no longer puts the icon on the bar.... even though I have set it up to do so...
I have rebooted several times and these problems do not go away.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Wi-Fi only. I have had it for about 4 months now. Android version 3.2, and kernel: 2.6.36.3
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on???
Up to now it has proven to be a sweet machine, but now????
Any ideas as to what is going on????
Thanks,
John Waller
