Nook Color totally WITHOUT power - Bricked without repair?

hello to everybody. i got my NC 1.2 as a gift last month. i rooted it with CWM 3.2.0.1 and Manual Nooter 4.6.16 then flashed Phiremod 7.1 but decided to reflash it with Phiremod 6.3. after a few hours, NC screen flickered then went black but still running (still getting hot/warm at the back). i tried doing recovery by following the threads here (bootable uSD with CWR) and on xda but NC wont boot from uSD now. (initially it did but screen flickered and went black again). Now my NC is totally powerless. i tried downloading android sdk and eclipse on my ubuntu 10.10 netbook but it wouldn't recognize the NC. would removing the battery be a good idea? Anything I missed?

Try my suggestions in your other post. Make sure you let the nook have a good long charge on the nook charger from a wall outlet to see if it gets power.
