It looks like NVIDIA is working even more closely with Google on their latest products. They just officially announced (in the video above) that their latest creation, the NVIDIA Shield tablet, will be receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop before the end of November. The Tegra K1 equipped gaming-focuses tablet sports serious horsepower, and it will be interesting to see what it gains from Google's latest mobile OS.
One of the best things about NVIDIA's Shield tablet is that it is practically like a Nexus product. NVIDIA doesn't really dress up the OS or add much bloatware to the device at all. At just $299 for a 32GB version with LTE, it's definitely worthy of consideration, and now that it will soon have the latest Android OS, it seems fairly competitive with Google's own Nexus 9 tablet.
