We've recently seen some leaks of a new Android tablet device which us supposedly coming out from NVIDIA, called the Tegra Tab 7. This new 7-incher just showed up in some AnTuTu benchmarks, and although these artificial benchmarks should be taken with a double helping of salt, it is still worth a quick gander. The Tegra Tab 7 scored an impressive 27,643. This is in the upper range or performance, although it should also be noted that this may have been in 720p instead of full 1080p HD, so these numbers will skew a little bit toward the higher end.

Of course, the 720p display has not been confirmed, so it is possible this is in 1080p mode, which would indicated monster performance. This likely confirms the Tegra 4 chipset rumored to be inside. The benchmark also shows the device will initially come with Android 4.2.2. We will keep you updated as more info arrives on this device.
