Onda v972 Not Charging

My v972 was bought in December 2013 for my daughter. It no longer charges - it would appear to me that the mini usb port is broken. Unfortunately the firm i bought it from on ebay has disapeared. Anyone got any sugestions? I have contacted onda but not heard backbfrom them . Presumably if they were to agree to repair it i would have to send it back to China.

If possible, try charging it from a computer to see if the charger itself is at fault. If the mini usb port really is broken, you might be able to locate a local shop that can fix it. Good luck!

I have tried a couple of chargers that work eith other devices so think it is the usb port.
