OS Update help

How do you or how can you get your OS updated I have version 2.3.5 and I know there has to have been updates that I missed or something? I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab. Can someone help me please?

Have you gone to settings - about and checked for a firmware update. If you have and it is not very helpful, go to settings - apps - all and find DMClient. Tap on it and tell it to clear cache, force stop and restart then do the same with CMClient, then go back to check for firmware again.
