I saw this too. Looks great. I hope more device makes start moving in this direction. Unfortunately, purchasing a Pandigital would be a luxury for me right now. Otherwise, I would definitely purchase one in support of them.

Well I had ordered one before the price on this frenzy item was over. I only paid tax / and part of the shipping price on 5x no interest payments for $41 bucks to get it to me. QVC, HSN and ShopNBC operate like that. Though HSN and ShopNBC charges me no tax. QVC does. Still it's on it's way. Paying extra for UPS Express didn't make it get here any sooner. Looks like a late shipment anyway.

@ Tipstir - love your webpage !! Does this thing ever really shut off ?? I power it down and the screen goes black - I plug it in to recharge and it almost
turns back on (no reboot) and a flashing bar appears - it finally goes to sleep after charging but appears to be dimly lit ??

Are you having the same troubles ?

Battery sure last long doesn't it. Mine was 10% before I had to turn it off for good and let it charge. What you see is for the Battery looks like hardware battery management when you plugin the power cord then it goes into standby until it's finished charging.
