All,
On a recent trip to China I picked up an Android tablet. I do not know exactly who makes the core hardware, as I'm fairly certain it is made by a different company than the one on the name plate. The company name attached to it is "londge". It is Rockchip 2818 based.

londge | smart future ??

That's the website for the company. Many people have mentioned charging LED colors and such, however this device has no charging LED at all. I'm not sure what all to include, so here is some information.

rockchip 281x version release v1.08(Archos) update wifi driver && set gpio reload && scu update

I attempted to use Android System Info to pull something useful, but sadly nothing useful. I'm mainly looking for information on how to root it and such. It has G-sensors as well. No camera. 800x480 resolution. Reports various OpenGL features. There is mention in various places of HRA701. On the back it says: Model MD701 Made in China. Designed by HRA digital and gives a serial number. It has 8GB of internal storage.

Thanks in advance.

Root is easy, but temporary. You need to repack the entire firmware to obtain permanent root.
RK2818 tablets are messy like that.

That's fun. I gave it to my girlfriend at the moment so rooting and such isn't an urgent issue. I may buy her one that doesn't suck later if she wants.
