please help Via WM8650 7 inch

My wife purchased a Via WM8650 online and the firmware was in chinese, she updated the firmware from where tech support told her. Now it runs very slow and tech support tells us now that the warranty is void because we updated the software. Where would I find firmware updates for a VIA WM8650 7 inch
