I have problems downloading apps from the app marketplace on my unbranded 9.7" HD Google Android OS 2.2 tablet. It is one of those MID tablet PC from China I think. I got the tablet off someone else and the person has connected the app market app to their email account. I can't download any apps now as I don't know their password. Will factory resetting my tablet resolve the problem so I can connect my email address to the device. This way can I add my tablet as a device.

Usually resetting the device will take care of that issue but you don't know for sure until you try
