Problem with Links

If I click on a link in an email I get a message like this 'phone' http//' add to contacts' This must be a bug and is there a fix for it? Ematic tablet, Jelly Bean 4.1.1.

It sounds like an action may have been set to default by accident. See if installing a different browser makes a difference or go to the app manager - scroll to all and find the mail client. Tell it to clear the cache then force stop and restart the tablet.
