q8 download location

Just just my first tablet a Q8 android 4.2 All tablets seems to have the ability to add an external sd card, I have a 64 gb card added and its working fine
Just tried to download a movie using the utorrent app, and of course it wants to download to internal storage and of course no go,
There must be an easy way to set the default download location to the external card for all apps.
It shouldnt be this hard to set a default storage location

Unless the app has a setting for data storage Android can't download anything (by default) to anything but internal storage.

wow that seems pretty dumb that the ext card cant be set as the default download location

It's on an app by app basis. For instance, the mail app I use (Kaiten) allows me to store all my mail on external memory. Some time ago there was a fairly good reason for not doing that as the open nature of Android allowed the various manufactures to call the external memory by different names so there was no standard way to refer to the SD card.
