Hello, I am considering an Android tablet, likely the Acer Iconia. I've been put off, though, by the apps that cannot be removed short of rooting your device, which I have no interest in doing. I've struggled to find out what is on the Acer device so I'll have to go to the AT&T store to find out for sure. But I saw one thread on here that said it had lets golf..but when I look at permissions in the Android store, I'm shocked to see what a simple game has access to. Since it's not removable short of rooting, I'm rethinking my whole intention to get an Android tablet. Facebook and some of the other apps are just as offensive in terms of what they get access to. Does anyone make a tablet that doesn't require you to sell-out your privacy to use it?
