rear camera on android 4.0.4 kb901 wont work

just got the tablet in the mail its a android 4.0.4 kb901 8gb dual camera tablet from china and i cant get the rear camera to work somebody please help me what am i suppost to do

When you have the camera running, there is an icon in the upper left corner of the active screen. Click on it to toggle between the front and rear cameras. I don't know if there's a way to have them both on at the same time. I'm running Android Version 4.0.4, Kernel 3.0.8+, build number nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20130510 test-keys .
