recommend coby kyros for docx files?

I'm searching amazon for a basic, cheap tablet. small enough to fit in my purse, big enough to type fairly long documents. I need to create and edit docx files. that's the whole reason I'm buying this thing. I like to window shop on the internet, but i don't watch videos or play games (other than words with friends type stuff.)

I read android 4.0 was best for windows access.

Would you recommend coby kyros 7042 for my needs?

why does it need to be docx, why not doc?

My job does everything in docx. I noticed some readers can open doc but not docx, and some doc format don't open properly (the formatting changes) in google docs.
