Remote control for ps3

Is there anyway to connect my tablet to my ps3 as media remote and if so how do I do it?
I tried the media remote app but my ps3 wasnt appearing in the device list to set it up.

Hopefully they will make something but doesn't exist yet. Media remote use IR and PS3 remote use Bluetooth signal. You can use PS3 controler to play games on your tablet but needs to be paired by USB port. Yup, it sucks that Sony tablet can't communicate with PS3.

I am using the Logitech PS3 Adapter ( see remotecentral.com ) works fine for all digital signals

the remote codes have been learned from the Harmony Remote (Logitech.)
