restoring a kyros 7012 from another

I softbricked my coby kyros mid7012-4g by removing some stock apps. I cannot find how to restore it since it is continually looping the android animation splash loader.My wife has an exact same model tablet. Is there any way to copy her system files, move them to external sd card and allow me to update? I can boot into flashboot and fwdn but my pc cannot see them though drivers are installed (it works with my wife's tablet). Thanks

It doesn't work. It says it resets to factory, but still won't get past splash screen.
