ROM transfer time through USB connection ?

I am trying to update a ROM of my 10" tablet ( 1 GHZ, 512MB, 4 GB, OS 2.2) through the USB Male-to-Male connection from a PC (P4, 2.0 Ghz,)
When I look at the files to be transferred , their total size is about 130 MB.

Can somebody tell me , who has done such thing, HOW LONG IT USUALLY TAKES ?
