I have GT P1000 purchased from Singapore. When I approached the local(Cochin,India)authorized service centre for ROM upgradation (2.2 to 2.3.3) they declined to upgrade for the reason the tab was purchased abroad.
Is there any technical reason that tab of foreign origin cannot be upgraded in India.
Is not the up gradation software universal and not country specific.Could any one please help me with a wayout for up grading my tab to the latest version2.3.3(Gingerbread).Awaiting feedback with interest and thanking you all in advance.
