Root and android market on Sylvania SYTAB7MX yet?

I searched the forum for sytab7mx and only 16 results came up, most of which were people asking how to get the android market on this thing and I didn't see an answer anywhere. This is my first post, so if I've missed it, please just point me in the right direction instead of taking the time to yell at me.

I understand there might be a 2.02 abd a 2.20...I have v2.20

Well, I was gonna ask if you tried the Amazon app store. It's a good non-Google market. Most people with budget devices find it a good alternative to rooting their device.
