Rooted my Nook HD+ using Leapinlar's at XDA Developers instructions. Everything went as planned with no problems. However the device slowed considerably. Noticeable immediately. I left it rooted about an hour in case it just needed to "settle in". No joy. Returned to stock and device speed was normal again. By speed I mean simply the time between an input request and response on the device...not wifi speed (though that was slower also).
Any suggestion? I don't think I made an error anywhere during the process. It went smooth and only took a matter of minutes after I had DLed the needed tools and files.
Thanks,
