Rooting a Proscan PLT7777

Hey guys,
New here. I've been looking around the internet for the last few weeks trying to find a foolproof method of rooting my Proscan 7" tablet.
It's a cheap Chinese model, so I'm not too hopeful. I've tried a few different methods to root, including vRoot, Towelroot and Kingo.
The main reason I want to root my tablet is I want to have anything I download to go right to my external 32 GB micro SD card, and right now I cant do that. Even though the internal card shows it still has just over 4 GB left on it, I can't download any more apps either. Very frustrating.
Let me know if anyone out there has figured this out.
