Rooting HSG X5A

Hello everyone. I am massivley new to android hacking so bear with me. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to root a HSG X5A tablet or upgrade it to 2.2. I imagine tbhat rooting that rooting the device will be easier root it. Also will i be able to use setcpu and LCD density app once its rooted.

You can use z4root to root the device. Beware trying to upgrade to 2.2 as the custom Roms available are very flakey. I would suggest wait a while for better roms.
