Recent industry intel suggests that Amazon's high-end 10-inch Android tablet offering, the NVIDIA "Kal-El" quad-core powered tablet dubbed "Hollywood," could see a delay in launch. Originally it was expected that this tab would come out sometime at the end of 2011. Unfortunately, now it appears that it will be pushed back to sometime in the second quarter of 2012. According to DigiTimes, Foxconn will be Amazon's primary assembler of the device, and their schedule doesn't allow mass production to begin until the first quarter of 2012. There have been no reports of any delay for the dual-core 7-inch "Coyote" tablet, and it should still ship in the autumn.
