I see that Netflix is finally making an Android app. Unfortunately, it is only for "selected" devices. Naturally, I started looking to see what others had done with it, and found an apk that removes the device selection "feature": [APP]Official Netflix (new device check disabled) - xda-developers
I have tried it on my 2.2 rooted S7 and an HTC Inspire, and in both cases the UI came up fine, login was OK, but when I try to stream, a red screen with the Netflix logo comes up, a spinner says "Loading..." but then the screen goes blank and pops me back to the home Netflix window (i.e. that shows the tabs for browse, queue, etc.) Video won't play. I have Flash 10.3 on both devices.
Any thouhgts?
