Safe Mode

Let's start bysaying I'm not real technology smart. I have a pretty new tablet. About a week ago my kid dropped it. Itwas fine for several days then this morning when I turned it on it show the little green android dude laying on his back with his mechanics door open and an error symbol. Now it says safe mode in the corner of the screen. And I've lost someapps buttons. Someone please help!

Try rebooting it. Do you have any external storage installed? If so remove it for now.

The dead Android is indicating a failed firmware upgrade (could be caused by a .zip file on an external storage)

Safe mode disables all non-system (preinstalled) apps. A reboot should get it working again.
