Samsung Galaxy tab 3

I am highly considering the Samsung Galaxy tab 3. I see it is on sale at best buy, bjs, and amazon.com for the same price. I would like to use this mainly to skype with my husband, he is over seas. Would you recommend this tablet for that purpose?
