Samsung Tab 2 for powerpoint projection

Hi everyone...
i have a technical question for you.

I am going to buy a samsung tab 2 10.1
I would like to use it instead of my laptop when i teach in class - this means to be connected with a vga beamer

now the tablet has no vga port - how can i do?
there is the possibility to have cable with an usb port and then from usb to vga...but will it work in your opinion?

I have the exact same question and have been told that an HDMI cable could hook me up to the University's standard projectors. But I have yet to try it as the cables are around £20 in the stores here and was going to look for a cheaper option.

Because you have hdmi projector... but will it work with a vga?
