Samsung Tablet 2 10.1 - Charging Issues

While on and plugged in with the adapter it came with, it will not charge "discharging"
While on and plugged in with the adapter i just went out and bought with a 2.1 amp charge, it will not charge "discharging"
With BOTH...
While off it charges - what's up with that?

With your tablet unplugged, press and hold the Power button for around 30 seconds. Then place your tablet on the charger that came with the tablet, and wait a couple minutes. Then press and hold the power button for around 30 seconds again. If this does not help, then the battery may be bad.
