So my mother decided it would be a great idea to buy a discounted tablet off of eBay.
Discounted? Yes, discounted and for good reason.
The OS is apparently defective.
I checked out the listing
(7" Android 2.2 Touchscreen Tablet PC! Discounted - **DEFECTIVE OS** | eBay)and emailed the sellers via her account to find out exactly what wasn't working with the tablet they were sending. They said it would fall under 'failure to correctly calibrate the touch screen', but we received the device today and I'm not quite sure calibration is the problem.
The box was marked with 'static screen' and when I try to boot this is what I get:
As stated in the listing it's VIA8650?
But I'm rather unsure that flashing a ROM would actually work.
Any ideas guys?
