sd card problem

hi there, i have just purchased an icoo d50 tablet running ics, i have put in an 8gb micro sd card which the tablet picks up, but when i go to install apps or download movies onto it, i am being told i cannot save to it, the tablet only has 4gb of inbuilt memory which is nearly full now so kinda need help with this as would like to do more downloading, many thanks

Not having any more internal memopry than that will be an issue going forward, however, if your tablet sees the SD card, download the items you need to the internal memory and use a file manager to cut/paste them to the SD card. You can't move apps to the SD card, (this is a tablet specific problem), but you should be able to find some other items to put there to make room
