sd card

hi all

i have just put in a memory card as i want to back up all my photos etc and then have any pictures that i put onto my tablet put onto the memory card rather than the tablets memory but i cant seem to find anyway of opening the memory card to see whats on it nor move anything over to the memory card. to be honest although it says there is a memory card in the tablet it is though there isnt one as i cant find anything to do with it. any ideas?

Get a free file manager app like ES File Explorer. You can find what's on the memory card by navigating to /mnt/external_sd. I know, so obvious, right? No idea what mnt stands for. You'll also notice the folder /mnt/sdcard, which is actually the onboard memory (which is what primarily makes up your 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB of memory that was advertised for your tablet).

MNT is linux slang that tells you the Micro Sd is mounted.
