sd reader nub needs help

i was wondering when i take my sd card and i put it intoa sd card reader and plug it into my desktop i cant find it on my pc to open it and add my music and movies.

Strange. Is this the microSD or a regular SD card?

Try right clicking on My Computer and select Manage. Go to Disk Management and see if the drive shows up there. Check the properties and format type if it appears. If not, try rebooting your PC and see if that helps.

If you right click on the My Computer icon (can be on the desktop, in the start menu or in a Windows Explorer window) there should be a "Manage" option.

yes it is being found when i use it with my dock the moms laptop. i think it is the reader that is junk.lol where can i get a new sd card reader?
