Sero 8 OS updates

I was thinking about purchasing a Sero 8 tablet, but was wondering is Hisense ever updates the OS like the other major brands do? I have not been able to locate any of this information anywhere, of course I have not looked at a ton of places as of yet either.

I bought mine, back last fall, and its updated itself once after the initial startup/update.
Really like mine, if that's a help.

Still on 4.2.2.

I've been really pleased with my Sero8. For the price, I'm glad I picked it up, but I'm waiting for the Pro to come out also.
