I cant seem to connect to wifi or a modem using mine andriod tablet version 2.2,model number wondermedia WM8650,kernel version 2.6.32.9-default,build number-generic-eng2.2 froyo ver 1.5.1-20110708-095253.connecting to a wifi is so annoying and when it do connect it last just for 5mins,with a modem connection is not possible dont know what to put as the device number in the add 3G network space.please can someone please help me as i cant use this tablet.

You could try changing your security from WPA/WPA2 to WEP and/or changing your channel to something less than 11. It works for some tablets. Worth a try?

You're not changing settings in your tablet, you're changing your wireless router settings. The instructions for your router should explain how to do that.

This problem you have described here also make me feel puzzled. I am searching for the right answer too.
