Hi all. Just changed my phone plan and it doesn't allow tethering.
Problem is I like to stream sports on the go but my phone screen is to small.
Question is, could I just stream it through my phone, connect my android tablet to it via hdmi and watch the tream on my tablet?
Much like you can output video to tv, just on a tablet instead?
Anyone know if this is possible?
Tablet is a ployer Momo bird
thanks.

Hi bokkie, I'm moving this thread to the Ployer Momo Tablets forum, so the folks with your tablet are more likely to see it and reply. I'm fairly certain the HDMI port on your tablet is HDMI OUT and you won't be able to stream anything to it, but lets see what the experts on your tablet have to say.

Thanks for your reply. I'll have to look into samba. I didn't realise that you could get free data with a payg SIM.
Could you shed a bit more light for me?
Thanks.

Samba give you free data for watching ads... or at least playing them ;)
Log in on your browser (PC, Mac, etc) then run the video adds for a data block that you can use when out and about.
They have offers where you can get a SIMpack for £1.
They piggyback on the 3 network (I think) so you need a 3 or unlocked dongle.

Other networks (T-Mobile and others) have offered a deal before where you get 12 months free data just with the requirement of a single £10 top up.
