Hi guys,

Firstly, great site. Looks like the kind of place where I can get some assistance on my problem, hopefully.

My sons Lenco TAB 9701 is stuck on the Android loading screen.
I have tried the reset button with paper clip and also what ever combination of buttons I can think of to try to get it either to boot fully or to get into any type of menu where I can do a factory reset or something.
If anyone could give me any extra pointers I would be very grateful, as would my 9 year old son who is now lost without his tablet while on holiday.

Thanks in advance.

All the best,

Kevin

When we had a similar issue we were advised to send the device back to Asus where they repaired it there. We couldn't find a solution ourselves and seemed like no one else had any idea either. Can you not send it back? Its usually a quick turnaround depending on where there engineers are based.

Yeah, it looks like we'll ahve to send it back. Hopefully will get it done under warranty as only bought last Christmas.
Tried the instructions sent by support..

To reset, please follow these steps:
- press and hold POWER Button on the unit
- press and hold RESET Button on the unit for 3 seconds
- keep pressing and holding POWER Button for 15 seconds
Now you can start the unit again and it's been reset to factory defaults.

But no joy.

Great. Glad it helped someone.

We have sent ours back and they are trying to fix it. Under warranty as well. :)
They have had it 3 weeks though and are not having much luck.
