Superpad i10 System Damaged

Hi, I've just bought my third tablet (already own the Playbook, and Sumvision Astro+) recently bought a cheap 10" superpad as a bit of a project.

It will turn on, and the Android world 2.3 logo will come on but after a few seconds the message "System is demaged, please try recover from external storage."

I know this isn't the place to ask but can someone point me in the right direction where I can look about fixing it?

I've tried a full factory reset but nothing happens :(

Also a bit unsure on the model. The box says it's a Superpad i10 model number: P045 4gb hard drive with 512ram I think it might have been released somewhere between the superpad 2 and 3?
