System UIDs Inconsistent

I recently tried to connect my tablet to my PC via USB, and when it started up, and got to the lock screen, it started glitching like mad, with the New mail sound going off erratically. I immediately unplugged the tablet and tried to restart it, and found that my lock pattern was gone, and got the System UIDs warning upon unlock. Now Launcher Pro constantly crashes, and I cannot get to the system settings to do a factory reset. I have heard of a technique called the three finger reset. Can this procedure be performed on my tablet, and if not, is there any way at all to save it?
