Tablet Advice for Public Use

Hello :)

I'm looking to buy a fair few Android based tablets, but they will be for public space use not personal. By this I mean they'll be used as mini touch screens in museums. I am not that bothered about cost, but the quality of the screen is very important. Also, I need to see if it's possible to have Android auto run an application on boot.

So, can anyone suggest any further reading? I've been Googling for days, and have played with tablets in various stores, but being very new to the Android market I'd like to get some non-salesman feedback :)

Cheers, A.

When you purchase (any kinds) of touch-screen tablets, you should have to put a protective sheet or film first if you want added protection to prevent scratches on the screen.

Just a suggestion.

Yes :) I'll be using a protective cover. They'll also be housed in custom made furniture.
