Tablet for recording with external microphones

Heya,

Just wondering if anyone know if there are any android tablets that can be used with like USB microphones etcs to do audio recordings?

I like the idea of having a portable recording studio that isn't my laptop. Any suggestions? Cheap is good

Also, does android have any apps for this purpose?

Sure, but it's a bad idea if you want reasonable sound quality. There are no tablets I can think of with acceptable A/Ds, D/As or preamps.
