Too many icons on home page

Just purchased a View Quest 8" 2.1 Slate, am very pleased with it. In my enthusiasm to try it out I seem to have four setting icons on the Home page, how do I delete please? Also, where can I find a "Help" Menu as the instruction manual quite brief. Thanks

the help manual is here, this forum is going to be your best resource as there really is not a user manual per se.

as far as removing items, press and hold the offending icon, you should see a trashcan popup either at the top, bottom or sides, drag the icon there. this only removes the shortcut, not the actual app.
