When Toshiba first tried to jump into the Android tablet market, they created high-end tablets with high-end prices designed to compete directly with the Apple iPad. Of course, that strategy didn't work too well. In fact, it was a tremendous flop. Now it seems that Toshiba is starting to "see the light" and realize they need to compete in a different way. They just officially announced a new Android tablet called the Excite 10 SE, which will be priced aggressively at just $350 dollars. Here's a spec breakdown followed by their full press release with launch details.
- 10.1 inch Display
- NVIDIAs quad-core Tegra 3
- Slim and light profile (weighs just 22.6 ounces and is only 10.16mm thin)
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Android 4.2 likely coming not too long from now)
- SRS-enabled stereo speakers
