I removed and re-installed the battery to stop the screen flickering. With the battery out, I pressed the power button several times. My understanding is that discharges a capacitor that causes the screen flicker option. I've done this before successfully.
This time though, after reinstalling the battery and powering up, there is a difference. The screen will no longer react to my touch. It does react to the pen however. I even performed a factory reset.
What could I have done during the battery replacement to disable the touch screen? I wonder could I have screwed up something during the factory reset? Any idea how to regain use of the touch screen function?
