touch screen problem

Can anyone please please help. I have had this tablet for about 6 months now - it's a 7" MID IRobot, Android 2.1. The big problem I'm having is that I recently did a factory re-set on it but now the touch screen has gone burserk. The keyboard letters are in the wrong place and the touch screen very rarely works. Any ideas!!!

if you can get to the market, or can sideload, i would get yourself a recalibration app. you can search for that in the market. i would also try another full reset, something somewhere didn't load properly....
