transferring music files across directories .?

Hi guys. New to a tablet, so here goes with what I hope is an easy task. I have transferred all my music files to my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from my laptop. The tablet automatically transferred all the files to the music folder, and I would like to transfer them to the 8gb micro sd card. How do I do it please ? Many thanks.

Your best bet would have been to put the files on the microSD card to start, however now that they are there, (you didn't say how you transferred them which may be important), you can install ES File Explorer from the Google Store and tag all the music, (it has a multi select option, then copy - paste to the SD card. Only when you are certain they are on the SD card and working should you go back to the music folder to delete them.


My hope is that you only copied them from the original source, just in case.
